Sarah Asare
When stress, anxiety, or life changes start to feel overwhelming, it can be hard to know where to begin—but you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I support individuals navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, and major life transitions, helping them build clarity, resilience, and practical tools for change. I work with a diverse range of clients, including those facing everyday pressures as well as individuals adjusting to living abroad, relocating, or working in high-demand international and diplomatic environments. Whether your challenges stem from personal, professional, or cultural transitions, we will work together to understand better what you're experiencing and identify meaningful ways forward.
My approach is client-centred, culturally responsive, and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach effective in treating concerns such as anxiety, stress, panic, and adjustment-related difficulties. Together, we will explore patterns in thoughts and behaviours, develop coping strategies, and build skills that support both immediate relief and long-term wellbeing.
I tailor each session to your unique needs and context, creating a space that is supportive, practical, and non-judgmental. I also bring particular insight into the challenges of cross-cultural living, expatriate adjustment, and the emotional demands of globally mobile or high-responsibility roles.
As part of my practice, I engage in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development to ensure ethical, high-quality care.
Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking greater balance, therapy can be a space to reconnect with yourself and move forward with confidence.
About Sarah
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) offering client-centred, culturally responsive therapy grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, and life transitions.
In addition to my clinical training, I bring lived experience as a former diplomat, immigrant, and mother, which informs my understanding of identity, transition, resilience, and the complexities of balancing personal and professional demands. I offer particular insight into expatriate adjustment, cross-cultural living, and the pressures of international or high-responsibility roles.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping you develop tools that support both immediate relief and long-term well-being.
