Jumana Daibl is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at CMAP Health. She is dedicated to supporting clients experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, trauma, ADHD, and autism. Jumana takes a collaborative, client-centred approach to therapy, focusing on building resilience, enhancing coping strategies, and empowering clients to reach their full potential.

She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Mental Health, with a minor in Psychology, from Carleton University, as well as a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Additionally, she has completed a Graduate Certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science from Algonquin College.

When asked why she wanted to work with us at CMAP Health and what clients could expect from her, this was Jumana’s response:

The way the brain operates and generates actions and behaviours fascinates me. During my bachelor's degree, I chose the neuroscience field to learn more about how the brain evolves and the psychological factors that underlie them. Now that I am in graduate school, I am concentrating more on promoting mental health awareness. To help my client achieve their goals and obtain wellbeing, I will use cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) in an individual setting. Working with a diverse population that may encounter language and cultural barriers to ensure that they have access to the services they require is also something I am passionate about.

I chose CMAP Health because of Dr. Rao and his multidisciplinary team. I am eager to learn from him and continue developing my skills in CBT treatments and evidence-based therapy. With continued supervision and experience, I will be able to meet the requirements necessary to register with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

Currently, Jumana is completing her Level 2 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Training Program with our schooling partner, Unified CBT Academy, enhancing her skill sets. She is registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
