Insomnia Program

The CMAP Health team is pleased to offer a state-of-the-art cognitive behavioural therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) program developed by researchers at the Ryerson University Sleep and Depression Laboratory.
Sleep problems are common and experienced by at least 40% of the population, and about 14% have all the symptoms of insomnia. This can also be part of stress and mental health problems.
Those who suffer from insomnia often experience:

  • Irritability
  • Daytime fatigue
  • Anxiety or Depression
  • Low motivation & energy
  • Gastrointestinal issues
  • Memory issues
  • Poor concentration & focus
  • Headaches
  • Using alcohol or medication to fall asleep

The CMAP Health Insomnia program provides individual therapy to work towards the client’s goals of overcoming insomnia and having a better night’s rest. The multidisciplinary team of CMAP Health therapists can provide scientifically valid treatments for both insomnia and any ongoing mental health problem, such as anxiety, depression, stress, and PTSD. Our therapy is covered by most private insurance providers. Contact your provider to learn more.
