Ellie is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and a student member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and fulfilling her practicum as a supervised therapist at CMAP Health. She is completing Level 2 CBT training through CMAP Health’s affiliate, Unified CBT Academy.

Ellie is passionate about helping people embrace change to improve their lives. Her experience as an adult educator was one forum for this passion. Volunteering with ON-BPD Family Connections™ as a co-facilitator of the program for family members of a loved one with borderline personality disorder is another. She is interested in helping clients with anxiety disorders, depression, and ADHD. She is committed to CBT and its collaborative, non-judgmental, and goal-oriented approach as it is an evidence-based treatment for various mental health issues. By providing a safe environment with empathy, understanding, and acceptance, she empowers clients with awareness and skills to manage the unique struggles they face.
