Donelda Pleau is one of our Registered Psychotherapists. Bringing over two decades of teaching experience and a commitment to youth well-being, Donelda has an extensive background as an educator working in both regular and specialized academic settings. For the past nine years, she has brought her expertise to support and educate youth admitted to diverse psychiatric units, fostering an environment conducive to their well-being and growth. As a result, Donelda has a deep understanding of the intersection between mental health and academic success.
Donelda has completed a Master of Education from the University of Calgary and has completed a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Yorkville University. She has completed Level 2 CBT training through our affiliate Unified CBT Academy, is a member of the CRPO, and holds membership with the CCPA.
Donelda is interested in working with youth and adults with depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, eating disorders, and school-related struggles, including learning disabilities and school avoidance. She also provides family therapy. Using a collaborative and resilience-building approach, Donelda aims to support clients in reaching their therapeutic goals.
